Le board de la Fédération espère mobiliser d'autres forces pour constituer un championnat plus "épais" en nombre d'équipes et de confrontations. Finalement, peu d'équipes prendront part à la 4e saison (8). Celle-ci fut la plus alambiquée de toutes, dans son organisation, mais parvint tout de même à aller à son terme, sans black-out.
