Depuis 1972, l'association d'Echte, un groupe de supporters du feu FC Hament puis du KVZ Hament, organise l'élection du « Joueur de l'année », baptisée «Vried'Echte ». Le vote se déroule en deux partie au cours desquelles chaque supporter présent au stade reçoit un bulletin de vote où il inscrit les noms de trois joueurs. La première partie du vote a lieu lors du dernier match à domicile du premier tour, la seconde lors du dernier match de la saison au [[De Komp|Komp]] (actuellement [[Nieuwe Komp Stadion|Nieuwe Komp]]). Après ces deux tours, les votes obtenus par chaque joueur sont additionnés et celui qui en récolte le plus grand nombre reçoit la récompense. Le tableau suivant reprend les lauréats de ce prix. | |||
