==Le réseau en général==
 
Le '''réseau autoroutier''' est un ensemble d'axes de grande circulation, destiné au trafic automobile entre les villes de [[Simland]].
 
La circulation s'y fait sur des chaussées séparées à plusieurs voies (au minimum 2 voies par sens). Sauf exception s'il y a lieu de traverser des tunnels, des ponts ou des viaducs. Ceci permet une circulation pour rejoindre rapidement un point A et B dans le pays. Outre les déplacements automobiles, le fret routier emprunte énormément le réseau autoroutier [[simlandais]].
 
Les autoroutes sont gérées par le [[Gouvernement|gouvernement fédéral]] au travers de la [[Direction Fédérale des Transports]]. Leurs couleurs est symbolisée par des cartouches et des portiques bleus foncés. Certaines sections peuvent être soumises au péage. Il existe 3 systèmes ; la vignette ; les barrières de péage ; le toll collect virtuel. Les sections à péage peuvent être concédées à des sociétés privées.
 
A noter certaines autoroutes ne desservent qu'une seul ville. C'est le cas des sections périphériques , et autres rocades ou rings.

Les '''autoroutes nationales''' ou encore appelées inter-étatiques, sont des axes destinés à la circulation automobile de très grande capacité entre les villes de [[Simland]]. La circulation s'y fait sur des chaussées en sens unique, à plusieurs voies (au minimum 2x2 voies), afin d'y permettre une circulation fluide et à vive allure. Outre les déplacements automobiles, un grand nombre de camions de fret utilisent le système autoroutier [[simlandais]].


==Tableau==
Les autoroutes historiques, dites radiales, sont les premières autoroutes construites à Simland. Il s'agit généralement des plus longues autoroutes du pays et elles couvrent de ce fait les axes majeurs : nord-sud et est-ouest, selon la topographies de lieux. Elles sont généralement aujourd'hui parmi les autoroutes les plus fréquentées de la nation car elles relient entre elles les prinicpales villes du pays, notamment les [[Ville Historique|villes historiques]].

Les autoroutes de liaisons sont majoritairement composées d'autoroutes secondaires, bien qu'il puisse exister certaines exceptions. Bâties généralement après les autoroutes radiales, elles complètent le système routier et desservent des zones géographiquement moins importantes en reliant le réseau là où ne passe aucune radiale.

==Autoroutes en projets==
Les périphériques, rocades et autres rings sont majoritairement des routes à forte capacité qui ont été aménagées et améliorées afin d'atteindre les standards autoroutiers en terme de sécurité et de vitesse bien qu'il peut parfois s'agir de tronçons spécialement créés afin de desservir les zones hautement urbanisées (villes et agglomérations). Ils assurent ainsi une connexion rapide entre les principaux pôles d'activités à [[Simland]] et le réseau routier national.
