 Dans le reste de l'Etat, on retrouve les forêts classiques du climat continental à savoir des conifères, des feuillus. Au niveau de la faune, il n'est pas rare d'apercevoir des ongulés ( cerfs, sangliers, daims...). L'espèce la plus anecdotique de cette partie est sans nul doute : l'écureuil volant.
